We met at RMJM where we worked for a combined 21 years as senior architects. We found that we shared a sense of humour, the same ethos and values on architecture, and a belief that architecture should be inherently resource efficient, engaging, delightful and accessible to anyone who experiences it.
Our practice has a deeply rooted understanding of environmental sustainability and places emphasis on passive means of achieving energy efficiency irrespective of project type and site context. Our practice is a member of the Green Register, an organisation committed to sustainable building design and methods of construction.
Working for large architectural practices has provided us with a wide ranging and wealthy architectural experience over a range of building types and varied client briefs. We are therefore fluent in all stages of the design and construction process from briefing, planning and design through to delivery on site. We combine this experience with a flexible, attentive and personal service to our clients.
We take a holistic approach for each project considering the context, function, interior design and landscape and employ careful use of scale, proportion and detail to create elegant buildings. Good client relationships are central to the philosophy of the practice, we listen to our clients and enjoy creating the spaces in which they aspire to live and work.
We are passionate about what we do, particularly projects that offer opportunities for designing finely crafted modern buildings, whether new build or the remodelling or extension of existing buildings.
